7 Natural Remedies to Cure One’s Monsoon Beauty Issues

A monsoon skincare routine is important to deal with beauty problems during that season. Retreating monsoon also means the same. Women need to be beauty conscious.

Monsoon is much awaited. Yet, monsoon does mean skincare. Monsoon-related beauty problems are there. It means following the monsoon skincare routine is important.

Retreating monsoon time is also a time to be beauty conscious.

1. Trouble with Oily Skin

Oily skin is very common during this season and unpleasant stickiness is there, leading to breakouts. A simple remedy is: 200ml of rose water

  •  1 tsp camphor
  •  1 tsp dried mint powder

Pound the camphor till it is fine, then add the rose water. Stir this together until completely dissolved and add the mint powder. Pour the mixture into a plastic air-tight bottle and then store it in the refrigerator. Use this tonic to wipe the skin two to three times a day to reduce the stickiness.

2. Blackheads and Whiteheads

The exfoliating process at home on alternate days can be done for the skincare routine during monsoon. Make the following exfoliator from these wonderful natural ingredients and watch the skin glow.- 50gm red masoor lentil powder

  •  50gm oatmeal
  •  50gm orange peel powder
  •  Rosewater

Mix all the ingredients and store the content in an air-tight container. Take about 1 tsp at a time and add some rose to make a smooth paste. Apply this on the skin and then leave it on until semi-dry. Then wet the fingers and scrub the face in a rotating manner for a few minutes. Wash with ice-cold water and then pat dry

3. Open Pores

Open pores cause discomfort by making the skin look uneven and ugly. It causes bacterial build-up on the epidermal layer thus causing pimples and acne. Rub frozen tomato halves daily on the skin. This helps close the pores as tomatoes are naturally acidic.

4. Acne and Pimples

Zits very dreadful skin problems and can cause nightmares. Keep one’s skin clean at all times and also beware of bad digestion and constipation. Increase the liquid intake with water, coconut water, fresh lime water as well as buttermilk. All these natural drinks do help cool the system and also improve digestive problems. Try avoiding salads during monsoon and increase intake of fruits and grilled foods. Acne and pimples can be dealt with the face mask– 2 tsp fuller’s earth

  •  3 cloves, ground, or a pinch of clove powder
  •  2 tsp fresh neem paste
  •  Rosewater

Mix up all the ingredients together and then apply to the skin. Leave it on until completely dry and then wash with chilled water.

5. Hair Fall

This happens to be a common problem during monsoons and many women experience it. Stress also causes this.

5 tsp neem paste

  •  5 tsp hibiscus leaves paste
  •  5 tsp hibiscus flower paste
  •  2 tsp each of amla, reetha, shikakai, and Triphala powder
  •  2 eggs

Mix all the ingredients and then apply from the root of the hair to the ends. Cover the hair with a shower cap and then leave it for about 45minutes, then shampoo the hair with a mild herbal shampoo.

6. Limp or Lifeless Hair 

Does the hair appear limp and lifeless? It is good to use a hair wash and watch your hair come to life and resonate with shine in minutes.- 1/2 cup fuller’s earth

  •   1/2 cup strained tea water
  •   1/2 cup stale beer
  •   The juice of 2 lemons

Mix up all the ingredients together to make a smooth paste. Beer can be added it. Rinse well with water.

7. Frizzy Hair

Frizzy hair is common during monsoon time. Hair masks and leave-in conditioners help out to improve frizzy hair.

Take salad mayo and then apply as a hair mask. This should remain in place for about 40 minutes and then be washed with a mild herbal shampoo. Take also 200ml of water and add 1 tsp of honey to it. Use this after shampooing and let the hair dry naturally. Brush the hair while it is semi-dry.

Thus monsoon skincare routine can be ignored at all costs.
