Garlic
This is the best and easiest home remedy to treat Pilonidal cysts. This is because of the antifungal and antibiotic properties contained by it. Oral consumption of garlic also boosts the immune system besides fighting infections.
To apply, crush a garlic clove with the rear side of the knife to prepare a paste. Apply this paste over the affected area and cover it with gauze for a few minutes (however, not more than 10 minutes). Follow with a rinse. Castor Oil
Castor oil contains high anti-inflammatory properties. These properties help to relieve pain and reduce inflammation resulting from Pilonidal cysts. Epsom Salt

To apply, add a tablespoon of Epsom salt to a cup or two of warm water, mix thoroughly to dissolve the salt granules completely. Use a cotton ball to apply this solution over the affected areas. Let it stay for about half an hour and then rinse off.
Apple Cider Vinegar
The anti-inflammatory properties contained by apple cider vinegar help to reduce inflammation and pain. Besides, the antibacterial and antiseptic properties also prevent the growth of bacteria to avoid further infection trigger. It also helps speed up the healing process.
To apply, mix 2-3 teaspoons of raw, organic, and unfiltered ACV with half cup of lukewarm water. Soak a cotton ball in this solution and place it directly over the affected areas for a minute or two. To promote inner healing, add a teaspoon of raw, unfiltered ACV to a glass of lukewarm water and drink it two times a day.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is yet another effective home remedy to treat Pilonidal cysts. This oil contains curative and healing properties for being antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory. All these properties help to fight infections more effectively.
Dilute tea tree oil with water in the ratio of 1:10 and apply over the affected areas. Allow it to work for ten minutes and follow with a tepid rinse. Pat dry thoroughly.
