Factors such as stress, pregnancy, vitamin deficiencies and weak liver function may also contribute to this problem.

Spots are generally harmless, but many consider them unattractive. To lighten brown spots, you can try some easy and natural facial treatments.

1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice has whitening properties that can help eliminate brown spots. In addition, it helps to maintain a soft, clear and beautiful skin.

Simply apply the fresh lemon juice directly to the affected area. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it in cold water. Repeat this remedy twice a day for about two months to record positive results. If you have sensitive skin, dilute the lemon juice with water, rose water or honey.

Another option is to mix enough sugar into the lemon juice to make a paste and use it as a scrub on your face, especially on your brown spots. Finally, rinse after five to ten minutes. Do this a few times per week. You can also add olive oil in this recipe.

2. Buttermilk

Buttermilk contains lactic acid which helps exfoliate the skin to remove stains and brown spots without drying your skin.

Another option is to mix 4 teaspoons of buttermilk and two teaspoons of tomato juice, then apply this mixture on the affected skin.

  2. Gently massage the area for a few minutes.
  3. Leave it for a few hours, then wash it.
  4. Do it once in the morning and once a night to help the brown spots to fade and make your tone even.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is an effective remedy for a number of skin problems, including brown spots. This will help to dry out and remove the stains faster.

Dilute an apple cider vinegar with an equal quantity of water. You can also add honey. Apply this solution to your brown spots and wash after a few minutes. Do it once a day for a few days or until you get positive results. You can also use apple cider vinegar right, but it may mold.

Alternatively, mix half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a few tablespoons of orange juice. Apply it to the affected area and let it light until it dries completely before storing it. Repeat once or twice a day for four to five weeks.

Gently rub the fresh aloe vera gel over the stains. Leave it for about 30 minutes before washing the area with cold water. Repeat twice a day and within a month you should notice the improvement.

If the fresh aloe vera gel is not available, you can opt for the aloe vera juice that you can easily buy in the market.

6. Sandalwood

Sandalwood is the anti-aging agent & antiseptic that can aid decrease hyperpigmentation & reduce brown spots.

You can make the house package with two tablespoons of sandalwood powder, two teaspoons of rose water and a teaspoon of glycerin and lemon juice. Apply this package on the stains and allow it to dry naturally. Use cold water to wash. Repeat a few times a week until your brown spots disappear.

Another option is to add a tablespoon of orange juice, a teaspoon of lemon juice and the contents of two capsules of vitamin E in two tablespoons of sandalwood powder. Mix it well and then apply it on your face. Leave it for about half an hour before storing it. Do this a few times a week until you see an improvement.

Also, massage the affected area with a few drops of sandalwood oil mixed in a tablespoon of olive oil or almond oil every day before you go to bed and let it sit overnight.
