Aloe Vera

It is one of the best natural ways to treat the peeling skin around nails. Add some honey & lemon juice to warm water and soak the hands in it. After soaking, pat dry the hands and put on some good quality moisturizer or vitamin E oil. You can also apply some of the olive oil to maintain the moisture level from the hands.

Mint juice

Extract juice out of some fresh mint leaves. Before going to the bed, apply this mint juice all over an affected skin. Leave it on overnight. The next morning cleans the skin with the lukewarm water. It works like the great natural moisturizer. Mint juice has many medicinal properties & can be used to treat the peeling fingertips. This remedy helps to treat the skin dryness. The remedy is also helpful in case of skin conditions like eczema & other skin disorders that lead to skin dryness & flaky skin.

Olive oil

Heat one-half cup of the extra-virgin olive oil in the microwave. Pour the warm oil into the bowl & add three drops of lavender essential oil. Soak the dry fingertips in the warm oil for 10 minutes. Smoothly rinse the and with lukewarm water, pat dry & then apply some moisturizer. Olive oil is the great moisturizer for the dry skin. Soaking fingers in warm olive oil will deeply moisturize & nourish the skin. Being rich in the vitamin E, it would also support skin healing.


Mix the handful of powdered oats in the large bowl of warm water. Soak the fingers in it for 10 -15 minutes. Rinse the hands with clean water & pat dry smoothly using the soft cotton towel. Apply the gentle moisturizer. This remedy would efficiently remove dead skin cells from the fingers & make them soft and smooth.

Sandalwood Powder And Rosewater

You can also make the mixture of two tbsp of sandalwood powder with three tsp of rosewater & some honey and apply it on an affected area. Leave it on for 20 minutes & then rinse it off with warm water & mild soap.

Apply coconut oil

Abundantly on the peeling fingertips several times a day. It moisturizes the skin & keeps it soft and flexible. Coconut oil is a wonderful home remedy for some skin issues including peeling skin. It contains fatty acids that allow it to penetrate rapidly into the skin. It prevents dryness, itching & flaking. Its antifungal & antibacterial properties protect against infections.


Mix two tbsp of milk and one tbsp of honey. Apply this mixture to the skin & massage gently. It would help the skin hold in moisture. Milk is the luxurious treatment for peeling cuticles. As milk is the natural skin moisturizer, you can also apply milk on an affected skin. Use milk with higher fat content.
