Studies have found that improved consumption of the soluble fiber, like the one found in fruits & vegetables (5 – 10 grams a day) can lead to a 5 % lessen in cholesterol level in blood. To add 5 – 10 grams of fiber in the diet means just to have a fruit or a vegetable a day.

Oatmeal

It is one of the best high cholesterol treatment. As an alternative of common cereal, prefer to start the day with oatmeal or bran. It is common to maintain that breakfast is the most vital meal of the day. One cup of oatmeal or bran has about 2 grams of soluble fiber & 4 grams of the fiber in the total. Oatmeal is the best food stand against cholesterol. The reason is that the oatmeal contains water-soluble fiber, which turn into the gel in the body. It helps to feel full & decreases the incorporation of the cholesterol in the blood.
